Bacon and Sea Salt Chocolate Chip Cookies

I've done it again!  Last year you might recall that I made some very yummy Bacon Maple Cupcakes after being inspired by Voodoo Doughnuts Bacon Maple Bar.  This time around I decided to combine chocolate, bacon, and sea salt into a cookie for something a little savory and sweet.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
6 tbsp sugar
6 tbsp light brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
10 oz dark chocolate chips
6 strips bacon, cooked, cooled, and crumbled
Sea salt

Preheat oven to 375.  In a medium bowl,  cream butter and sugars using a mixer.  Beat in egg and vanilla until creamy.  Add the flour, baking soda, and salt and mix until blended.  Stir in the chocolate chips and bacon by hand.  Drop rounded cookie dough onto baking sheet and sprinkle with a tiny bit of sea salt.  Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden.
